south sudan learnings!!😁😊😊

As-salam alaykum,


This morning we had some visitors from south sudan there names were phil and and janet here are my learnings:
  1. In juba (which is in south sudan) it gets up to 42 degrees in juba
  2. Rice is one of the main food.
  3. Some people wear rags.
  4. Some people have markings made out of cuts when they were kids or babies.
  5. Juba parents have to pay to go to school
  6. Money from south sudan is in South Sudanese Pounds. One pound is worth one NZ cent. This is a backwards two pound coin!

Term 4 Air force visit!

Kia ora, During this week we had visited the air force museum!we all enjoyed it we learnt alot from Chris kate and vince!My favourite part was going on this huge plane here is a photo! I was scared at the time but it was really fun!Also we got to jump out the plane.We got a to se loads of planes and at the end we got to do a hunt and we had a paper, we got to find stuff.It was loads of fun! Here are some things we learnt! How hard they work to stop fighting How they carry stuff in the back of the plane I went in! About how vince and kate's experience in the air force!
